Fire Barrier Construction – An Insight

This foam helps prevent moisture from getting into the space between the concrete and the wall. The polyurethane foam is a very effective barrier against fire. Fire proofing concrete walls and floors and ceilings with polyurethane foam are quite expensive and this makes the use of polyurethane foam a costly process for fire protection.

Polyurethane foam is used for fire prevention purposes in many industries. For example, it is used in the making of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire blankets, fire sprinkler systems, smoke alarms, fire sprinklers, fire doors and other fire safety systems, etc. It is also used as a filler in paint liners for vehicles. Polyurethane is a fire retardant and a strong fire retardant and has excellent fire-retardant properties.
